One-Piece Woven Upper
The Cloudspike XC utilises a lightweight one-piece woven upper, to supply your feet with a fresh, comfortable feeling. The upper construction provides a contoured fit to keep your feet stable and secure, whilst enhancing breathability to reduce overheating and keep feet cool. The one-sew construction will stop feet from becoming uncomfortable by reducing irritation and abrasion, keeping you focused on the race ahead. Not only this, but the shoes are moisture-wicking, to prevent a build-up of sweat and moisture, keeping feet dry and comfortable even during intense races. To ensure optimum comfort and let you focus on your run, the mesh material has efficient water drainage properties, so you won't have to worry about water sloshing around in your shoes while you run. The soft, padded collar will provide an exemplary level of comfort and ensure your feet remain secure within the spikes while the flat-laying tongue prevents irritation caused by rubbing. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system to keeps feet locked in, prevents in-shoe slipping and provides you with a secure fit.

Engineered using On's highly responsive Swiss-engineered Helion HF hyper foam midsole, the Cloudspike XC offers massive energy return that minimises impact on the body to prevent injury, perfect for long-distance track events. Not only does On's Pebax hyper foam allow the midsole to deliver supreme energy return and comfort, but it also provides you with a supportive stride for a more efficient run. The responsive and supportive cushioning adapts to your running style, absorbing impact, reducing strain and helping you to feel like you're running on clouds. As well as offering supportive energy return, the Cloudspike also enables athletes to maintain an efficient and steady pace. This is provided by the stiff midfoot Speedboard that features in the midsole. It works to deliver a harmonious balance between sturdy stability and potent propulsion to push you forward. The Speedboard features strategic cut-outs for lightweight stability. Finally, the Cloudspike has six lightweight spikes alongside a rubber outsole with a surface-gripping heel pad to provide you with unmatched traction in wet and dry conditions.
