Engineered Mesh Upper
For a lightweight, comfortable wearing experience, the Omni 22 utilises an engineered mesh upper. Providing your feet with a constant supply of airflow the materials keep you feeling cool and comfortable on future runs. Perforations in the fabric allow fresh air to travel through the shoes, keeping your feet cool and free from distractions. Durable reinforcements add support and stability, providing protection in high-wearing areas as well as, keeping the uppers sturdy for a locked-in sensation. Small windows of thin, breathable mesh on either side of the shoe increase breathability to prevent overheating and ensure the shoes remain lightweight. The flexible materials allow your feet to move comfortably inside the shoes, preventing restrictions and ensuring feet remain secure. Thanks to the soft tongue and collar, the shoes supply a smooth, next-to-skin feel, reducing irritation and chafing, and providing a supportive fit. Finally, the lace-up system allows you to achieve a perfect fit, securing the midfoot and reducing in-shoe slipping.
PWRRUN+ Midsole
Upgraded to their predecessors, the Omni 22 features PWRRUN+ cushioning through the midsole, a springy, powerful, flexible and extremely durable compound to keep you bouncy and soft on your feet. Noticeably bouncier and more durable than your standard EVA cushioning, the PWRRUN+ midsole provides a cushioned run like no other. The soft midsole will work to absorb impact when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces, meaning fatigue and discomfort are reduced, allowing you to enjoy your run with confidence. It is also highly durable and increases the shoe's longevity to give you peace of mind mile after mile. Saucony has added a Hollow-Tech guidance system to this newest edition of the Omni. Keeping you stable and centred in the shoes, the guidance system curves up the medial heel to offer your foot sufficient support. The midsole has been redesigned with an updated rocker geometry, providing smooth heel-toe transitions, for confident, natural strides and a comfortable experience.
XT-900 Outsole
Providing high-wearing, durable rubber in areas that need it most, the Omni 22 utilises an XT-900 compound for the outsole. This supplies feet with optimal grip and traction across a range of surfaces, allowing you to stride with confidence. The rubber outsole provides you with a solid connection on the ground below, to ensure a firm base for you to push off from, making your gait cycle more efficient.
