ASICS Novablast 2 GS Junior Running Shoes
The Novablast 2 GS (Grade School) shoe is the kid's version of the iconic NOVABLAST series. It features an energetic bounce underfoot inspired by the feeling of jumping on a trampoline. Created using a kid's-specific last, these shoes offer a more accommodating fit for growing feet. With a solid rubber outsole and medial wrap-up, these shoes are highly durable.
Breathable Mesh Upper
The breathable mesh upper is designed to wrap the foot like a second skin. The upper provides excellent comfort and support and using a kid's specific last, the shoes allow growth for your child's feet. The mesh has a perforated construction that allows air to fully permeate the upper, letting little feet breathe when the temperature rises or when adventures heat up. As well as radical ventilation, the construction delivers a premium fit that improves flexibility and decreases irritation-causing wrinkles while maintaining its lightweight structure. A soft, cushioned tongue offers an improved midfoot fit and sits comfortably for an irritation-free experience. FlyteFoam Blast Midsole
The Novablast running shoe's energetic underfoot ride comes from its one-piece FlyteFoam Blast midsole. This new foam is softer and bouncier, providing a great feel from footstrike to toe-off. The soft and energetic nature of the midsole increases the underfoot softness, almost enveloping the foot in a plush, supportive wrap. The midsole of the Novablast 2 is made up of multiple compounds to bring a cushioned and explosive running experience. FlyteFoam Blast is the main cushioning compound used in the Novablast because of its lightweight foam formulation and high energy return. AHAR Rubber Outsole
An AHAR Rubber Outsole provides twice the abrasion resistance of the traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in the heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it the outsole allows your child to stay in complete control.
