ASICS Noosa Tri 16 Running Shoes
Designed to help create an energetic toe-off, and provide advanced energy saving, the Noosa Tri 16 utilises an array of technologies and materials to keep feet comfortable and cosy.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Providing feet with outstanding levels of cool airflow and keeping you comfortable on the move, the Noosa Tri 16 utilises a breathable engineered mesh upper. The materials have strategic perforations to provide feet with a constant airflow supply, preventing overheating and keeping you focused on the race ahead. Additionally, the materials have moisture-wicking properties to prevent a build-up of sweat, and to keep feet dry during the more intense periods of competing and racing. With a seamless design, the shoes prevent irritation or abrasion from occurring when wearing. A soft tongue and collar sit comfortably against your feet, to provide you with a distraction-free wearing experience and a heel and tongue pull tab (and tongue hole) makes putting on the shoes and taking them off quick and easy. To provide a locked-in secure fit, the shoes have a traditional lace-up closure, which helps to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring.
100% of the shoe's upper is recycled. ASICS have also used less water and reduced its carbon emissions while producing the shoe's sockliner, and the insole, toe box, eyelet, tongue and collar lining are all made from recycled materials.
FF Blast Plus Midsole
An update on their predecessors, the Tri Noosa 16 utilises a FlyteFoam Blast Plus foam compound, to provide you with outstanding underfoot cushioning, and keeps feet exceptionally comfortable. Lighter than standard FF Blast foam, the FF Blast Plus has an impressive 15% better cushioning, alongside 15% more energy return for responsive strides. This is ASICS' softest cushioning material so far, whilst also remaining exceptionally lightweight, the compound provides you with a soft, luxurious landing. This excellent compound provides you with unmatched shock absorption, to help prevent injuries or discomfort occurring when striking down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces during running or racing. FlyteFoam has outstanding fibres that bounce back to their original shape after impact, providing resilience and exceptional durability over a long period of time. The shoes have a rocker geometry which works to push you forward providing you effortless forward propulsion. A 3D Guidance System resides through the midsole to improve stability by using 3 components to support you by adapting to the movements of your foot and the changes caused by fatigue. Finally, a sockliner provides you with added levels of underfoot comfort and has been produced using a solution dyeing process to reduce water usage and carbon emissions.
ASICSGRIP Outsole
Providing you excellent grip and traction across a range of surfaces, the Tri Noosa 16 utilises an ASICSGRIP outsole. The compound is extremely durable, ensuring a long-lasting and reliable companion, guiding you through every section of your run. Additionally, the outsole has a full-ground contact design to promote a smoother and more efficient ride.
