Honeycomb Mesh Upper
Made to be highly durable and breathable, the Nike Legend Essential 3 has been created with a honeycomb mesh construction that keeps air flowing and your foot cool. The mesh is highly abrasion resistant, keeping them in top condition even after bumps and scrapes, through the toughest workouts. To increase the durability of the shoes Nike have added overlays around the sides and heel that reinforce the mesh ensuring long-lasting durability to supplement the firm and adaptive feel of the shoe, without sacrificing breathability. The lightweight yet durable mesh protects your feet during any workout whilst perforations in the fabric increase airflow, creating a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Around the heel, Nike have introduced a foam collar to increase the comfort but also lock in your heel for reduced movement within the shoes. Not only this but thanks to the soft smooth feel the shoes are easier to put on and take off. Completing the upper is a standard lacing system that ensures midfoot support and reduced movement, so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Foam Midsole

The foam provides significant cushioning and comfort to help improve the level of your performance so you can stay at your optimum level, for longer. Holding excellent cushioning abilities, the midsole absorbs shocks as you move providing resilient cushioning and reducing the risks of potential injury.
Grippy Rubber Outsole
Ensuring a strong and stable base, the outsole wraps even further around the side of the midfoot for added grip when climbing a rope and speed when sliding back down whilst increasing the durability of the shoes. Increasing traction, the rubber provides stable footing when moving from one place to the next. This is ideal for tough workouts, gym sessions, and classes where you typically make a lot of sharp, aggressive and lateral movements. The solid rubber keeps you connected to the gym floor and allows for smoother, stabler transitions. The shoes also feature at least 8% Nike Grind material, this material is made from scraps from the footwear manufacturing process. Finally, the grooves provided in the sole of the shoe, allow for your forefoot to bend more naturally to ensure a comfortable experience.
