FORMFIT Upper
The upper of the Munchen 5 has been created using a FORMFIT upper. The upper ensures feet remain secure as the upper provides dynamic support in the midsole, so your shoes hug your feet as if they were made for you. The formfit technology provides the perfect fit for a wide range of footshapes. This soft, breathable upper construction provides soft-against-the-skin comfort, whilst increasing airflow, the shoes have perforations around the toes and midfoot enhancing breathability and keeping feet fresh and cool when wearing. Completing the Munchen 5 shoes is a traditional lacing system that provides a locked-in secure fit, preventing in-shoe slippage.
PWRRUN and PWWRUN RS Midsole
Using their innovative PWRRUN technology, Saucony has developed a midsole that will provide all the cushioning you need. PWRRUN will improve the long-term functionality of the shoe, making it feel the same mile after mile. Using this midsole the shoes will provide a lightweight and springy feel to keep your feet comfortable throughout wear. They have just the right amount of softness, yet stay responsive enough to tackle as many miles as you wish. The EVA used at the top of the midsole is extremely soft any impacts are absorbed instantly and effectively, delivering an extremely plush ride whilst reducing fatigue and protecting from injuries. Additionally, the shoes have PWRRUN RS cushioning which provides a just-right feel that's responsive enough to tackle as many miles as you wish. The midsole is extremely flexible, which will improve the responsiveness of the shoe, giving you an added spring in your step to push you on faster. The high-performing material within the midsole is three times less heat sensitive than previous midsoles, meaning that no matter what time of the year or what conditions you are running in, the midsole will always deliver a premium performance.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Developed to be hardwearing and grippy, the outsole of the Munchen 5 Running Shoes has been constructed using a durable rubber outsole. The outsole offers exceptional traction and durability so you can continue confidently. The rubber can form a solid connection with a wide range of surfaces, giving you one less thing to worry about. The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base to push off from, making your gait cycle more efficient. Reinforced in high wear areas the outsole will withstand long-lasting wear. Lastly, multi-directional grooves are placed strategically to secure your feet to the ground and will also improve efficiency in takeoffs, landings and direction changes.
