Constructed using Pertex Shield Fabric technology, the Meteor provides protection against the wind and rain whilst remaining comfortable and lightweight. The waterproof and windproof nature of the fabric ensures complete protection against harsh weather by preventing cold and wet weather entry. As well as this, the fabric also features a breathable membrane which allows you to remain cool and comfortable at all times. The breathable fabric allows cool air to flow throughout the garment whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. Another key benefit of this material is that also offers a great deal of stretch and therefore, allows the wearer to receive a comfortable, snug fit without causing them to feel as though their movements are being restricted. A DWR treatment has also been used on the outer fabric layers. This as well as helping to block rain will allow the water to bead on the surface area, making it easier for the jacket to shed effectively. To provide added protection, the fully adjustable hood roll-away hood with wired peak can be used to shield the face when the weather takes a turn for the worst. As well as this, a mid height collar helps to block out cold winds whilst the adjustable velcro cuff ensure a perfect fit and helps to seal in escaping heat. An adjustable hem also helps to reduce heat loss whilst also providing a perfect fit. Pit zips can be used to increase ventilation when heat builds up, they can be unzipped when temperatures rise to release an intolerable heat build-up or, when temperatures drop they can be worn up to seal in escaping heat. The full length front zip also allows you to adjust ventilation plus, it allows for an easy on and off. Two mesh lined pockets and a map sized hand pocket helps you to store essential items.
