Montane GR Sun Hat
The GR Sun Hat is a technical hat for hot summer days on the trails or in the mountains when you need some extra protection.
The Montane GR Sun hat has been created from a lightweight, polyester ripstop that is highly durable and abrasion resistant, perfect for those long days on the trails or in the mountains. The outer material has been treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) for added water resistance, this helps the water to bead up and roll off keeping you drier for longer. Montane have included an internal headband that has been made of CoolMax® polyester. The headband has been designed to move excess moisture from the surface of the skin. This effectively wicks away moisture, preventing it from building up around your head for all-day comfort. Not only does this wick away excess sweat and moisture keeping you feeling fresh, but this has also been treated with an anti-odour finish, helping to stop the build-up of microbes, allowing you to keep wearing without unwanted smells. The hat features a round brim protecting your face as well as the neck, whilst also providing you with UPF 50+ sun protection to shield you from those harmful rays. Ventilation holes are included to let built-up heat escape whilst allowing cool air to flow, keeping you at the perfect temperature.
