Designed to provide comfort in the elements, the Montane Duality Insulated Jacket features a GORE-TEX membrane. To meet the demands of anything the outdoors throws at it, the fabrication works to protect against harsh winds and rain ensuring you remain warm, dry and comfortable at all times. This durable layer provides supreme waterproofing, which will make sure that you will always stay dry in light or heavy rain. As well as being protected from moisture, the fabric is also windproof, which means that heavy gusts are blocked from reaching the skin, which would also make you begin to feel cold. As the body begins to sweat, or when you start to overheat, the fabric allows there to be a steady airflow in and out of the jacket, which will work to keep the body feeling cool and comfortable. The GORE-TEX fabrication provides the perfect balance of breathability and protection to bring you a jacket that will perform over and over again. To ensure added comfort and warmth, the jacket has been filled with PrimaLoft Gold which offers unbelievable insulation by trapping warm air inside the garment for maximum warmth at minimum weight. The trapped air keeps your core temperature stabilised at all time so you can remain warm and comfortable when the mercury drops. The ultimate comfort factor of this jacket though is the PEAQ Synthetic Eco Lining, which is very comfortable against the skin and very breathable.
To provide added protection, the fully adjustable hood roll-away hood with stiffened peak can be used to shield the face when the weather takes a turn for the worst. An adjustable hem helps to reduce heat loss whilst also providing a perfect fit plus, adjustable cuffs can also help to seal in escaping heat. . The full length zip also allows you to adjust ventilation plus, it allows for an easy on and off. The zip can be worn up when temperature drop to seal in escaping heat or, when temperatures rise it can be worn down to release an intolerable heat build-up. Two hand pockets can be used to keep your hands warm when temperatures drop whilst a zipped chest pocket is perfect for valuable items. Lastly, an external chest pocket can be used to store small essentials.
