Based on cold chamber lab research and extensively athlete tested, the Alpha Axis Jacket has been engineered with body-mapping fabrics and insulation technologies. From GORE-TEX Infinium to provide breathability, unique water-repellent, and windproofing. Pertex Air is present across the back and under the arms to help regulate your temperature and keeps you feeling at optimum comfort, and Polartec Alpha hi-loft insulation is also provided across the back, under the arms and in the hood, to keep you feeling warm and cosy. Fluorocarbon-free HyperDRY goose down provides a layer of water-resistant warmth, which prepares you for even the chillier days out. The garment has an integrated, fully adjustable roll-away, insulated, climbing compatible hood, with a stiffened peak for protection against wind and rain. A full-length two-way YKK VISLON zip, with an internal storm flap, provides easy on/off access, and prevent windchill for enjoyable wear. There are also two zipped hand pockets, allowing you to store away any personal belongings, and a concealed zipped chest pocket allows you to discreetly store anything valuable. Finally, pre-elasticated cuffs provide a comfortable fit, and an adjustable hem with a cinchable drawcord ensure you can make any necessary personalisations to the fit.
