Mesh Upper

This upper is designed for maximum breathability. The mesh construction features micro-perforations that allow built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst simultaneously allowing fresh air to enter and circulate for a pleasant cooling experience. This upper is comfortable and soft from the initial fit and is super lightweight so you won't be weighed down on the court. A premium insock delivers even further plush softness, and the traditional lacing system secures the shoe to the foot for precise, confident movement. A padded tongue and collar help protect the foot from lace pressure and knocks, so you can play all day long.


Mizuno Enerzy and Mizuno Wave Foam Midsole

This new version of the Wave Exceed is updated with Mizuno's latest technology Mizuno Enerzy along the full midsole to provide an extremely soft and bouncy feeling. Mizuno Enerzy has been developed with the mission to enhance performance capacity and guarantee that athletes retain more of the energy that they put in. All whilst providing an overall more comfortable feeling. This new technology is a product of the brand's combined knowledge of rebound benefits from Mizuno's cross-sports category expertise and its core Mizuno Wave footwear function, which provides a unique combination of cushioning and stability. Mizuno Wave foam stays as a core element of the midsole construction to guarantee stability, control shock absorption and enhance cushioning. The Wave's unique shape will absorb all energy from the strike of the foot, where it is then dispersed. This will protect the feet from heavy impacts, as well as add stability by spreading the energy. This creates an ultra-responsive experience, so you can make those split-second moves that win you the point.

X10 Outsole

X10 technology is used in the outsole which benefits the shoe as it is superbly lightweight and long-lasting, so you can move with speed and can enjoy wearing these tennis shoes for longer.
