Waterproof Leather Upper
Experience ultimate comfort and durability thanks to the leather upper of the Wrapt. The shoes have been created with, waterproof suede leather that is naturally breathable and waterproof. These provide robust protection against any hazards on the trail, such as loose rocks, branches and debris, all while keeping your feet dry in poor weather conditions. The breathable mesh lining allows for excellent ventilation so feet can breathe, meaning you stay fresh and focussed, whilst the bellows tongue provides even further protection against debris, sealing out dirt and gravel. The traditional lace closure allows for a secure fit, ensuring stability and control.
EVA Midsole
An EVA foam has been used within the midsole to ensure a light, durable ride. This ensures ample underfoot cushioning to reduce the impact placed upon the feet on tough trails whilst remaining as lightweight as possible so you'll never feel weighed down. The lightweight midsole offers supreme cushioning and support to key areas like the arch and heel, securing your foot for a smoother transition and wear. By supporting these key areas of the foot, the midsole material can also offer enough support to prevent discomfort and possible injury. Increasing comfort, Merrell has included an integrated EVA foam insole with a 100% recycled mesh footbed cover, for a soft feel the moment you put them on.
Quantum Grip Outsole
Developed to provide traction and grip, the Wrapt uses a durable rubber compound in its construction. Offering a multi-directional grip, the outsole provides traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing whether you're hiking or out for a stroll in the local park. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. It is also highly durable meaning no matter what you throw at it, the Wrapt will perform time after time. The outsole enables confidence in the most extreme trail environments to keep you constantly grounded. The Wrapt has been designed with the Merrell Barefoot 2 construction to keep the foot in its natural 'barefoot' position for optimised movement and comfort, whilst also allowing for greater proprioception.
