Waterproof Suede Leather Upper
The Merrell Marquette Thermo Tall Zip utilises a suede leather construction, providing a comfortable, upper which keeps feet cool and dry thanks to the waterproof membrane. The leather provides enhanced protection against, knocks and bumps, making this highly durable and built to last. A waterproof membrane ensures water, rain and damp conditions are kept on the outside, keeping feet dry and cosy no matter the conditions. The boots have a protective and abrasion-resistant rubber toe cap that increases protection against rocks, uneven surfaces and trail debris. The boots also feature a bellows tongue to keep debris out so you can adventure distraction-free. Providing warmth when temperatures drop the boots have 200 grams Primaloft Gold Eco Series synthetic insulation and a faux fur fleece lining. The combination traps warm air created by movement in small air pockets, providing a layer of heat within the boots. Cleansport NXT treatment prevents the build-up of odour-causing microbes, keeping the boots fresher for longer. The boots have a waterproof zip on the medial side to assist with an easy on/off whilst a traditional lacing system reduces in-shoe movement.
FloatMax Foam Midsole
Delivering comfortably soft cushioning and a smooth underfoot experience to keep you going longer, the boots have been made with a FloatMax midsole. This ensures plenty of underfoot cushioning reducing impact placed on feet and joints lowering the risk of injury when taking on tough trails. A fleece footbed cover provides extra comfort and additional warmth. The boots are also built with BLOOM performance midsole foam made from algae biomass. BLOOM performance foam is made of 10% algae biomass, transforming green water into clean water.
Durable Outsole
The Marquette Thermo Pull On outsole uses a tough rubber compound that can withstand the most challenging surfaces, protecting itself from damage and users from losing control and slipping providing an assured footing on challenging terrain. The sole uses flex grooves to provide a natural feel and provide the grip and traction where you need it.
