The Eigerjoch Advanced always keeps you warm without weighing you down. The insulated jacket works well as a mid or outer layer. It's filled with a blend of two types of insulation to offer the perfect balance of warmth and moisture wicking: premium water-repellent goose down from Responsible Down Standard suppliers keeps your upper arms, core and hood interior nice and warm.
Supplying you with an optimum level of warmth and water resistance, the Eigerjoch jacket utilises a combination of technical fabrics. Primaloft Gold, Pertex Quantum and Mammut Down 850 offer two types of insulant properties, to keep you ultimately cosy and warm, for an exceptional wearing experience. Supplying you with water resistance to prevent you from getting wet in rainy conditions, the jacket uses both HyperDRY and Pertex Diamond Fuse. This excellent construction also means that the jacket will remain unscathed after scuffles with rocks, and also holds up well to heavy backpacks, whilst ensuring exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, and moisture-wicking comfort. The exposed and high-perspiration spots such as the shoulders, hood, back and underarm sections are made with soft, stretchy PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active synthetic fibre materials.
The innovative jacket has an array of technical features to ensure you have everything you need, for your next adventure. Two climbing-harness-compatible front pockets with zippers allow easy access to safely stored essentials, alongside an internal chest pocket with a zipper. A helmet-compatible adjustable hood with a reinforced peak provides you with enhanced coverage, and hem drawstrings can be adjusted with one hand for a preferable fit, with the ability to prevent windchill from occurring. Elasticated cuffs allow the jacket to sit comfortably on your wrists, whilst the YKK Vislon 2-way zipper allows you to take the garment on and off with ease. The jacket can easily be stowed in the front right pocket, meaning a small packing volume is ensured.
