Puma Magnify Nitro Tech 2 Women's Running Shoes
It's all about a comfortable ride with the Magnify NITRO and this season Puma retooled the model with a knitted upper and even more NITRO. Constructed with Puma's thickest piece of nitrogen-infused NITRO foam in the midsole, this shoe is built for long runs where comfort is your top priority.
Engineered Knit Upper
The upper of the Puma Magnify Nitro Running Shoes have been constructed using a breathable knitted material to provide optimum breathability and comfort. The knitted upper provides plenty of stretch, that moves with the foot for a comfortable feel as soon as you put them on. The shoes use various-sized perforations within the fabric in areas that need it most to allow cool air to flow, whilst hot muggy air escapes. This provides a cooling sensation as you move and a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. Increasing the structure and support of the shoes the instep has PWRTAPE, which supports the foot and reduces in-shoe movement. The shoes also feature a moulded heel collar to provide you with a locked-in feel at the heel, that helps to reduce movement for a more secure ride. The Puma Magnify Nitro 2 has a traditional lacing system to provide you with a secure, locked-in feel as you move.
Nitro Foam Midsole
The midsole of the Magnify Nitro has been created using the thickest piece of Puma's most elite foam. This is a nitrogen-infused Peba foam, that is lightweight and springy, providing you with high energy return and responsiveness. Infusing nitrogen into the foam Puma have been able to expand their midsoles, by doing so the shoes are extremely comfortable underfoot whilst also providing maximum propulsion with each step, letting you run further and faster with ease. Not only will the foam help propel you forward, helping you to hit those PBs, but it also absorbs shocks and negative impact forces as you strike hard unforgiving surfaces, by doing so this reduces stress on the joints and the risk of injury. Additionally, a central decoupling line through the midsole helps to support any stride for added stability.
PUMAGRIP Outsole
Finishing the shoes is the last key feature, the outsole. Puma have used their PUMAGRIP rubber compound, which combines superior traction with durability. Strategically placed the rubber forms a solid connection with a wide range of surfaces, even when wet or dry, giving you the confidence to run whatever the weather. The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base for you to push off from, allowing for a more efficient gait cycle. Increasing durability, strategic rubber placements on the heel have been included to help extend the life of the shoe.
