This classic hiking pole impresses with its comfortable AERGON Thermo Grip and intuitive Speed Lock 2 Adjustment System, which provide impeccable performance on the mountain. The shaft, made from aluminium HTS 6.5, provides great stability and makes the Leki Makalu your robust companion for all tours.

Featuring an anatomically formed AERGON Thermo Grip, the edgeless and ultralight handles fit comfortably in every hand whilst the Leki Skin Strap provides an ultra-lightweight and breathable degree of security as well as maximum comfort and minimum weight. Speed Lock 2 technology ensures extremely fast adjustment of the pole length making it a versatile piece of equipment for uneven trails. This technology is 30% smaller, 25% lighter and has a 20% higher holding force when compared to SL1. The Makalu are made from Aluminium HTS to provide a super stable, extremely robust and very durable trekking pole that you can rely on. Lastly, the poles feature the Trekking Basket 2.0 to provide effective protection against sinking in and compatibility with every Flextip.
