Breathable Mesh Upper
The Mutant Trail Running Shoes have a single breathable, abrasive-resistant mesh upper, to supply your feet with a constant level of airflow, in order to keep your feet cool and comfortable. Utilising SpyralTongue technology, the shoes combine the advantages of quick-fitting shoes with a traditional tongue and the protective features of having an integrated gaiter. The gaitor protects your feet by providing a sock-fit, containing your foot comfortably, whilst allowing flexible and comfortable movement, whilst simultaneously ensuring dirt and debris is prevented from entering to prevent discomfort. The shoes have FusionGate technology, which works in tandem with the lacing system, which has high-density reinforcements, allowing regulation of the inner volumes and level of adherence of the foot within the shoe, in order to provide you with a more precise fit, and enhancing the stability even on traverses.
IMEVA Midsole
The Mutant Trail Running Shoes have an Injected MEMlex EVA (IMEVA) midsole, which provides your feet with exceptional cushioning and high elasticity. The features of the midsole assist with the "push off" during the propulsion phase of your run, meaning the shoes are perfect for use on off-road trails. Not only this, but the IMEVA construction drastically reduces the squash effect of the EVA over time, meaning long-term cushioning over the duration. The Mutant trail shoes also have an OrthoLite Hybrid sockliner, which has been made using 20% recycled materials. The insole has moisture-wicking, breathable features to supply your foot with constant comfort, ensuring that not only will your feet remain cool throughout the duration of your run, but, they will remain dry inside the shoes. The sockliners are extremely durable thanks to the anti-compression technology keeping the material compression down to less than 5% over time.
FriXion XF Outsole
Constructed using a FriXion XF Outsole, the Mutants will provide you with an ultra-grippy base to support you in running on varied terrain. The rubber will guard against damage, as it is made from abrasion-resistant rubber, and will protect itself from damage on rocky ground, improving the lifespan and functionality of the shoe over the long term. As well as this, an innovative impact braking system that absorbs negative ground impact helps traction and improves grip downhill allowing you to run without any distractions or worries. The ultra-sticky sole is perfect for running on soft and muddy terrain, providing you with a stable outsole and an AT Grip Spike feature works alongside these to provide you with a versatile level of traction.
