The Katam Jacket from Mountain Equipment has been created with a 2.5L DRILITE waterproof fabric with a recycled face and DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating for ultimate weather protection. The fabric and coating work to stop water and moisture from entering the jacket, protecting you from the elements so you stay dry and comfortable even when the weather takes a turn for the worse. Furthering protection from the rain and snow is a roll-away, elasticated mountain hood with a small peak and rear adjuster, keeping the rain out of your face whilst trapping heat for added warmth. The jacket uses an active fit with articulated and pre-shaped sleeves, to provide a fit that sits close to the body without being restrictive. A YKK WR centre front zip provides easy on/off whilst also helping with ventilation. When zipped down fresh air can flow through the jacket whilst built-up heat can escape keeping you cool and comfortable. When zipped up the jacket will retain heat, keeping you toasty when the temperatures drop. Velcro cuffs and dual-tether hem drawcords help optimise fit, sealing out cold winds in the process, while a single chest pocket gives quick access to essential items while on the move.
