The Kalixfors SF Extra GORE-TEX is a versatile, functional hunting boot. The extra high upper, high-quality nubuck leather and waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane provide good protection in the wet and stability in rough terrain.
GORE-TEX Upper
To keep feet shielded on the rugged off-trail terrain, the Kalixfors SF Extra utilise a high-quality, long-lasting nubuck leather material for the upper. This durable compound protects your feet from knocks and bumps when you're on your next hike. Working with the nubuck leather is a GORE-TEX membrane, a waterproof, breathable compound that keeps feet well-protected during wet and changing weather. Preventing water from entering the shoes during poor weather on your hikes, the boots keep your feet dry and feeling fresh, whilst also being extremely breathable to stop you from overheating when the adventure gets tough. With moisture-wicking properties feet remain free from sweat and moisture build-up, keeping you feeling fresher for longer, and dry during tough periods. The boots have durable TPU heel and toe caps to shield feet when being knocked on the trail, therefore reducing injury and keeping you focused. The high collar sits comfortably against your skin, helping to reduce irritation and keep you protected from dirt and debris entering. A StraightFit Extra Last features to add more space in the shoes for the forefoot and big toe, keeping them in a more comfortable position and allowing toes to splay more naturally. The flexible 2-zone lacing system works with clamping lace hooks to provide you with a locked-in fit and feel, whilst allowing you to fit a thicker pair of socks under for warmth and comfort. Finally, the offset deeper lacing hooks at the tongue mean that the upper can flex in a forward direction for comfortable movement.
PU Midsole
The Kalixfors GORE-TEX features a soft insole and midsole, to provide you optimum underfoot comfort and great cushioning, for a comfortable landing. The midsole cushions your strides to help keep feet comfortable when on longer hiking adventures, whilst having shock-absorbing properties to absorb the impact from striking down on the harder surfaces of your trail adventures. This helps to reduce risks of injury or discomfort on your trail, keeping your feet fresh and ready to tackle every hurdle. The midsole ensures a smooth and comfortable roll-off for quiet movement.
Vibram Trekking SF Outsole
Providing optimum grip and traction across various terrains, the shoes have a Vibram Trekking SF outsole. The outsole has a wide surface to provide you with a large area of grip and traction for excellent stability on long walks whilst enhancing the cushioning for a comfortable landing. The outsole has a self-cleaning tread to prevent mud and dirt from getting stuck, and simultaneously ensure you have optimum grip and support.
