Ripstop Mesh Upper
Utilising a 91% recycled polyester ripstop mesh throughout the upper, the Kaha 2 Frost GORE-TEX is breathable and durable to keep things comfortable and prepare you for every hike. The durable upper keeps feet well protected from knocks and bumps on trails, whilst strategically placed perforations allow airflow to travel through the boots, for outstanding comfort and a cool, fresh sensation. To prevent a build-up of moisture, the materials have quick-drying properties to keep feet dry from sweat, prevent overheating and keep you comfortable. The flexible nature of the uppers allows you to move feet comfortably within the boots, whilst ensuring they remain contained and locked in. To ensure optimum cosiness across wintery, cold adventures the boots have 400g PrimaLoft Gold insulation, keeping feet toasty and warm during, snowy, icy or chilly weather. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps feet dry by preventing water from entering the shoes and allowing breathability to prevent wet feet on the inside. The high compression collar sits comfortably against your skin, keeping you cosy and sealing out the elements, whilst a cushioning tongue stops dirt and debris from entering, and keeps feet locked in and secure. A glove-friendly heel tab makes it easy to pull the boots on while a top-hook lacing system also makes taking the boots on and off super easy and helps to get the perfect fit and feel, to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring.
Dual-Density CMEVA Midsole
The Kaha 2 Frost features a dual-density CMEVA midsole, which keeps feet cushioned and comfortable when traversing constantly changing trail conditions. Softening your landing when striking down on tricky terrain, the midsole provides you with a comfortable compound for each stride when adventuring outdoors. Shock-absorbing properties help reduce the risks of injuries and discomfort when striking down onto harder surfaces, keeping you more comfortable for longer. The boots feature aluminium reflective foil in the sockliner bottom to add extra layers of warmth, for optimum in-shoe comfort. An injected TPU heel cap keeps your feet secure in the boots and helps to prevent excessive movement of your foot. Additionally, a forked SwallowTail allows you to adjust your feet easily on uneven terrain, whilst a HUBBLE Heel reduces the impact of striking on your heel, both of which help to create smoother heel-to-toe transitions.
