Made from full grain leather, the upper of the Intercept Walking Shoe is extremely high quality and durable. Offering both the shoes and your feet protection from the elements as well as sharp rocks and branches, you'll be ready for even the most rugged of trails. An abrasion-resistant toe cap only adds to this durability and makes sure that your toes don't suffer any injuries such as bruising. A mesh lining increases the overall breathability, allowing the air to circulate within for excellent ventilation. The Bellows tongue keeps dirt and debris out of the shoes, which can often cause discomfort when running. M-select Fresh, an antimicrobial technology also features throughout to reduce odour, keeping your shoes fresher for longer.
EVA Midsole
The Merrell In-board compression moulded EVA foot frame provides superior cushioning throughout the whole of the midsole, allowing for a smooth, comfortable ride. Adding to this, Merrell Air Cushion can be located in the heel in order to absorb shock and add stability to your run, making these shoes perfect for demanding or uneven terrain. A moulded nylon arch shank features to add support to the shoes and diminish impact on your calves and feet over the course of a steep ascent.
