Veja Impala Training Shoes

Veja creates their lightest pair of training shoes: the Impala. This knitting technique, "Engineered Mesh," offers a tailor-made placement of breathable and supportive areas. The mesh alternates between tight stitches and spaced-out stitches.

Engineered Mesh Upper

The Impalas have an engineered mesh upper that provides breathability, comfort and freshness. The mesh uppers allow constant airflow to keep you cool and comfortable on the move, helping to prevent overheating and moisture build-up. The technology allows you to customise the placement of breathable and supportive zones and alternates between tight and loose stitches, allowing you to move freely. Additionally, TPU overlays protect you from knocks and bumps, providing long-lasting protection and keeping you comfortable throughout. The shoes have a tech lining to prevent irritation from occurring and soft sensations for an enjoyable wearing experience. Finally, the shoes have 100% recycled laces to provide a locked-in, secure fit, which helps to prevent in-shoe slippage.

EVA Midsole

Utilising an EVA compound, the shoe midsole cushions the foot upon impact, reducing the stress and strain placed upon the muscles and joints in the foot and ankle. This reduces injury risk, short and long-term, as footstrike after footstrike is buffered. Additionally, EVA provides gentle, springy rebounds, utilising the power of your last step to push you into your next one. This means you don't lose momentum and forward movement feels like a breeze, culminating in fatigue reduction, so you go further easily. The shoes have an L-Foam latex insert, which helps to provide shock attenuation, for additional underfoot comfort.

Durable Rubber Outsole

Offering grip and traction during training and gym sessions the shoes have a durable rubber outsole. This will provide long-lasting traction and support on the gym floor or pavement. Allowing longer wear in higher impact areas will provide you with outstanding grip over a long time. The heel strike will additionally have a solid grip with a wide range of surfaces.
