The upper has been reimagined with a soft mesh construction, a new heel shape and a more comfortable sockliner. The soft, breathable mesh encases each foot in comfort. It allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. This creates the perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. An OrthoLite X-30 sockliner provides soft step-in comfort and the tongue wing construction helps create a more supportive fit. An external back counter in the heel further helps to improve the fit whilst also helping to increase stability. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free fit.
FlyteFoam Midsole
FlyteFoam cushioning has been used within the midsole for a softer feel underfoot and impressive cushioning comfort. It absorbs shock as you strike down on unforgiving ground, reducing the stress and strain put on the foot and joints, thus minimising the risk of injury. Teamed with rearfoot GEL technology, this combination creates softer landings and smoother transitions. LITETRUSS technology is placed in the midsole's inside angle to provide medial reinforcement. It helps produce a more supportive stride while keeping overpronation at bay.
Hybrid Outsole
The outsole of the GT-1000 12 TR Trail is highly durable and grippy. It forms a solid bond with the ground beneath for a confidence-inspiring grip. It features a hybrid tread pattern that allows you to run on both trail and road surfaces. The lugs bite into soft earth for advanced traction but resist wear on concrete and paved surfaces.
