Extremely secure and strong in its construction, the Focal 48 Backpack provides ample space to carry heavy objects securely and comfortably. The main body has been constructed with 100D High Density 40% Recycled Nylon and 210D High Density 45% Recycled Nylon with PFC-Free DWR, making the bag extremely tough and durable, able to stand up against forces as well as being water resistant, providing additional protection in lighter rain showers. A FreeFloat Dynamic Suspension allows the hip belt to pivot and flex with the natural movements of your body for complete freedom of movement. The suspension features the 3D comfort cradle hip belt with dynamic flex panels that move with the natural movements of your body so you'll never feel restricted on outdoor adventures. As well as this, the suspension and the 3D comfort system are highly breathable meaning they allow for increased ventilation. The system allows cool air to flow throughout the back panel to ensure you remain comfortable and cool when temperatures rise. The back panel also features Polygiene Stays Fresh technology, an odour control fabric treatment that inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria, keeping you feeling clean and fresh no matter how long you are out. The adjustable torso length allows you to find a perfect fit; it also features a moisture-wicking mesh that moves excess sweat and moisture away from the skin where it can be easily evaporated. The 3D comfort cradle hip belt is designed to remove hotspots and provide body-hugging comfort as soon as you put the pack on. A Comfort wrap, breathable shoulder harness with sternum strap features an integrated safety whistle and hydration clip whilst the perimeter alloy frame and fibreglass anti-barreling cross-stay offer stable load management.
This version is able to hold up to 48 litres within it. The bag has multiple pockets a removable, floating top pocket with a large zippered compartment that can be found at the top of the bag, and an underside zippered pocket. Other pockets that are on the backpack can be found on the sides, these are stretch-mesh pockets with side trail access and pass-through for over-or-under compression perfect for items you need handy. Other features include reflective attachment points and a key clip. As well as this, a hydration sleeve with SpeedClip hydration hangar compatible with Gregory's 3D Hydro reservoir (not included) for all your hydration needs if you choose to use one. An adjustable attachment loop and upper shock lock are perfect for storing trekking poles or an ice axe. Lastly, the bag has a custom-fit rain cover, which will provide waterproof protection to the bag and its contents. This will mean that clothes and sleeping bags will stay dry, ready to be worn comfortably at the end of your hike.
