Welded Upper
The Blitz Hockey Shoes utilise a high-performance woven fabric, which uses strong nylon in the construction, providing you with a tough, durable pair of hockey shoes. The shoes have strategically placed reinforcements, to enhance the durability of the shoe, resisting tearing, ripping and abrasion from high-impact use. The uppers have a breathable, weather-protective solution to keep feet feeling comfortable throughout the game. The quicky-drying membrane prevents discomfort and the build-up of heat, therefore keeping feet dry. Alongside this, the shoes have a stitch-free upper, which provides you with a smooth, glove-like fit, ensuring that irritation and abrasion are prevented, for a constant, pleasant in-shoe experience. The Diamond Cradle system also provides you with optimal stability. The shoes utilise heel wrap technology which has been designed to lock the foot in place and minimise in-shoe slippage. Finally, to further keep the feet stable and secure inside the shoes, a speed lacing system, also allowing your foot to comfortably slip in and out with ease.
EVA Midsole
A dual-density midsole system has been positioned inside the shoe, to enhance support and stability during dynamic movements on the hockey pitch. This compound works alongside the EVA performance midsole, a foam formulation that provides supreme energy return, thanks to the unique elastomer compound, which is engineered for both speed and comfort. A firm EVA55 foam also resides underfoot, to prevent your foot from rolling when making contact with the ground. Additionally, the Torsional Plus Wishbone works to reduce the weight of the sole unit, at the same time as retaining durability and structure. This stable platform helps to reduce injuries to the knees and ankle. Finally, a 3-layered gel footbed with gel inserts optimise underfoot support and enhances shock absorption, and a full-length 360-degree foam provides you with a soft heel platform.
Aggressive Grip System (AGS) Outsole
Providing you with a great balance of both, geometry on the outsole and a superior rubber compound, the shoes deliver you confidence when competing on a range of surfaces. This means the Aggressive Grip System outsole of the Blitz offer you long-term durability and stability underfoot. The shoes also have a deep lug pattern, and multi-directional grip, therefore helping to improve traction on all types of pitch surfaces. Not only this but the deep sharp lugs are made from a compound that will balance durability and high-performance grip. This construction will allow you to make sharp unpredictable turns on the pitch with constant stability.
