ASICS Gel-Nimbus Lite 3 Running Shoes
When it comes to creating a performance running style with sustainable practices, the Gel-Nimbus Lite 3s are the green standard. Made using at least 20% recycled materials, the mesh upper provides extra support, breathability and comfort.
Breathable Mesh Upper
Made from recycled contents, the Gel-Nimbus Lite 3 utilises a breathable mesh upper. The breathable, lightweight upper will ensure a constant supply of airflow to your feet, to ensure feet don't overheat and feel cool throughout your run. The mesh construction has strategically placed perforations throughout to fully permeate your feet with fresh, cool air, allowing your feet to breathe and feel fresh during the more intense periods of your running sessions. Not only this, but the mesh is flexible, meaning feet will bend and flex naturally, without feeling restrictions, ensuring comfort from start to finish of your running endeavours. Additionally, the shoes have a no-sew construction to prevent irritation or chafing occurring when feet are moving in the shoes, allowing you to remain focused on the run ahead. Finally, the shoes feature a traditional lace-up closure system that provides a secure and stable fit, preventing in-shoe slippage.
At least 20% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
FF Blast Midsole
Utilising FF Blast through the midsole, the Gel-Nimbus Lite 3s have a softer, cushioned landing that provides you with a more responsive landing. The FF BLAST compound is 55% lighter than industry standard EVA midsole material and has been made with reinforced fibres that bounce back for optimal cushioning with every step. The soft and agile composition of the foam adds positive energy to each and every stride, therefore uplifting your body and mind. The shoes also utilise ASICS' rearfoot and forefoot GEL technology, which protects feet from impact by absorbing shocks during landing, therefore reducing the risks of injuries or discomfort when running on hard, unforgiving ground, creating a softer sensation during footstrike. Additionally, the shoes have laser-cut sidewall detailing to improve deformation at your footstrike, whilst also reducing the weight of the shoes and enhancing the durability of the shoes. Completing the upper of the shoes is a sockliner that offers extra cushioning for longer running sessions. The sockliner is produced using water-reducing solution dyeing processes.
AHAR+ Outsole
Providing outstanding durability and traction across varying surfaces, the Gel-Nimbus Lite 3 utilises an AHAR+ outsole. ASICS' High Abrasion Rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. The outsole's full-ground contact provides a smoother and more efficient ride, optimising your control across various surfaces.
