Unique Lightweight Upper
The upper of the Fujispeed 2 Trail Running Shoes has been designed with a lightweight woven material that increases durability to protect against abrasions from rocks and roots. The upper is long-lasting and reliable for an exceptional level of comfort over a longer period. Not only this but the unique and lightweight upper allows for exceptional airflow, keeping your feet feeling cool, dry and comfortable during your trail runs. This also means that sweat and moisture are wicked to the outer of the upper where it can dry quickly when things heat up. Alongside this, the shoes have an asymmetrical lacing system, which reduces pressure across the top of your foot, whilst also creating a supportive fit for your foot to remain comfortable on uneven terrains. The shoes also feature a gusseted tongue wing fit system which reduces tongue movement while keeping debris out of the shoe. A smart lace loop also helps to keep the laces from coming undone or moving about, meaning a secure, locked-in fit is ensured throughout your run without added distractions.
FF Blast Plus Foam Midsole
The Fujispeed 2 has been constructed using FlyteFoam Blast Plus cushioning which provides the perfect balance of lightweight and rebound properties. These layers of protection, bounce, and comfort provide you with unmatched shock absorption and a lively ride. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run so that you can train harder, more frequently and for longer without the worry, that your shoes might not be able to take it. The midsole also has a new full-length Carbon Plate which adds structure while guiding the foot and propelling the body forward allowing you to be able to conserve more energy and help maintain your pace at the later stages of the race. Designed with speed in mind, ASICS have spent hours testing and perfecting the Fujispeed 2 at the Institute of Sports Science (ISS) in Japan.
ASICSGRIP Rubber Outsole
Outstanding grip and traction are guaranteed with the ASICSGRIP outsole. Keeping you anchored to the ground beneath you will improve efficiency, making sure that every second counts. The rubber can form a solid grip on surfaces beneath you for complete control in all conditions. Additionally, the rubber is extremely tough and abrasion-resistant, which means that it will maintain its shape and definition over a long period. The design of the outsole will also provide further traction, as it will dig in to provide further control while a lug pattern on the bottom of the shoe helps to improve traction on slippery terrain.
