Abrasion Resistant Mesh Upper
Providing you with an exceptional level of protection and durability, the Trailcross GORE-TEX Mountain Bike Shoes utilise an abrasive-resistant mesh upper construction. The mesh not only provides you with durable support, but it also allows air to fully permeate throughout the shoe, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air whilst simultaneously pushing out hot, muggy air. Supplying flexible support, the material works to increase ventilation and eradicate the build-up of sweat which is unavoidable during exercise. Sweat and moisture are wicked away from the feet leaving you feeling fresh and ready to clock up the miles in extreme comfort. Working in tandem, the shoes also have a GORE-TEX membrane to ensure constant protection against poor, changing weather conditions. In order to keep your feet and toes shielded from knocks and bumps on the trail, the shoes have an impact-resistant toe box, as well as, a moulded toe cap. A lycra collar construction resides through the Trailcross GORE-TEX Shoes, which is extra soft and shaped to comfortably wrap around your ankle and heel for encouraging support when cycling. Finally, the uppers have a mudguard protection to prevent mud and dirt from damaging the shoes.
EVA Midsole
A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, meaning it will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, therefore providing you with an added spring in your step. The midsole also features drain ports which allow water to escape from the shoe for quicker drying.
Stealth Rubber Outsole
Developed using a Stealth Phantom Outsole, the Trailcross Bike Shoes ensure unbeatable grip. Designed to provide grip and traction to any pedals S1 sticks to all surfaces whether they are wet or dry. Stealth Phantom incorporates an extraordinary balance of high friction and durability with an ample amount of cushioning to bring you a mountain biking shoe that truly performs in any condition. The dotty pattern interacts with any pedal pin to ensure grip and traction so you can ride with complete confidence.
