Synthratek VX Upper
Constructed using a synthetic upper, the Evolv Defy Climbing Shoes ensure comfort and support. The upper sits comfortably against the skin and has minimal stretch to reduce in shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free climbs. A textile lining ensures next to skin comfort and is highly moisture wicking. The lining moves moisture away from the skin for quick evaporation so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. This upper is completely vegan. A split tongue gives you maximum comfort, allowing you to take off the Defy easily as well as put it on. Moulded Variable Thickness Rand (VTR) is a Evolv system which puts thinner rand rubber in areas to reduce pressure points and hot spots around the foot, As well as this, thicker rubber for increased longevity in the high wear zones near the toe for durability and performance. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to ensure a secure fit.
Full Length Midsole
The midsole of the Evolv Defy Climbing Shoes is low in profile to save on weight and increase underfoot feel. The midsole incorporates a blend of sensitivity and support to allow you to feel any changes underfoot. Evolv Sizing
Evolv shoes are unisex. Sizes are in men's. For women's sizing equivalent, please go down 1 1/2 size in men's (women's 8= men's 6.5). Fit Notes: For performance fit, stay at street shoe. For casual fit, go up half a size from street shoe.
