Mountain Equipment Earthrise Hooded Pullover Jacket
A lightweight hooded down pullover filled with 100% recycled down and using 100% recycled fabrics. Embracing the heat-retaining pullover style of our heritage climbing smocks, it's ideal for climbers and ski-mountaineers operating in cooler conditions, whether navigating icy couloirs or spending exhausted nights on exposed portaledges.
Constructed using a windproof, moisture resistance, breathable outer fabric, the Earthrise Hooded Pullover utilises 100% recycled materials and is made from pre-consumer fabric offcuts and treated with PFC-free water repellency treatment. This helps to prevent you from getting wet and uncomfortable in poor and changing weather conditions, whilst is also windproof to restrict windchill from occurring. This outer is also highly durable, providing you reliability, especially against knocks and scrapes on adventures. Preparing you for the chilliest of conditions, the pullover is optimally filled with 700-fill power-down insulating, providing an exceptionally good warmth-to-weight ratio, which also means it will compress small and is highly durable, the jacket will keep you warm and protected on all those winter adventures. Alongside this, the Earthrise has a stitched-through baffle construction which allows down to loft for optimum comfort. Additionally, a half-zip provides you with airflow control and a pullover design. The pullover features an integrated, fully adjustable Mountain HC Insulated Hood, with a rear volume adjustment and two frontal adjusters, whilst also ensuring it can be worn with a climbing helmet for protection when climbing. The elastane bound cuffs and adjustable hem drawcords provide you with windchill prevention and a comfortable fit. The garment has a Kangaroo-style hand warmer pocket, which is large enough to store gloves or your hands when you're chilly and an outer storage pocket that is large enough to accommodate a GPS or small accessories. When required, the pullover packs down into its pocket, allowing you to store it easily in a pack or if you want to clip it to a harness. Lightweight, warm and windproof, the Earthrise Hooded Pullover is an efficient layer that can be worn all day, from the first click of bindings in the morning glare until the final turns of the rapidly fading day.
