GORE-TEX Upper
Protecting feet in all conditions, the Ducan II High GORE-TEX utilises a GORE-TEX membrane, providing waterproof, durable protection. The durable compound provides feet with a breathable layer of waterproofing to ensure that feet don't overheat, however, stay dry and comfortable when hiking in constantly changing conditions. Stretch fabric is utilised throughout, and is super comfortable against your feet, whilst providing a constant supply of airflow to keep you fresh and cool. Additionally, they have stretchy properties to prevent restrictions and allow feet to move more naturally. Synthetic overlays are provided in areas that are high-wearing to shield feet from knocks, bumps and bashes from the trails. The high collar is super soft next to your skin, reducing irritation and keeping feet secure across difficult trails, whilst the cushioned tongue allows feet to remain locked in. The Ducan II has been meticulously designed to work with the natural anatomy of the foot for the most comfortable, precise fit. A heel loop assists with putting the shoes on, and the lace-up system with eyelets allows you to keep feet secure, reducing the risks of in-shoe slipping, and getting the best fit.
Flextron Midsole
Utilising Mammut Flextron technology, the boots have excellent cushioning for soft, comfortable landings. Providing effective cushioning, the Ducan II High GORE-TEX has excellent energy transfer to ensure bouncy energetic strides across the trails. Additionally, this keeps your foot stable by using a spring steel sole, providing dynamic control underfoot. Flextron technology has longitudinal flexibility which supports and corrects foot rolling behaviour when hiking on tricky surfaces. The lateral stability prevents excess pressure on the arch of your foot to promote an anatomically correct foot position, improving posture and providing more natural movements and more use of energy.

Supplying optimum grip and traction on a range of hiking surfaces, the Ducan II High have a durable, reliable Vibram outsole. Providing torsional support and underfoot flexibility with optimum durability, the outsole keeps you stable on all surfaces, allowing you to get outstanding grip and traction when adventuring the great outdoors. Delivering reliable grip the outsole has deep lugs which anchor down onto tough, wet and muddy surfaces, for tacky support.
