Veja Condor 3 Running Shoes
The Condor 3 combines technology, Research and Development and bio-sourced materials to meet runners' needs for cushioning, lightness and durability. A wide, voluminous sole offers real comfort with every stride, with a stack of 29 mm in the forefoot and 37 mm in the heel.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Constructed using 100% recycled Polyester, the Veja Condor 3 features an engineered mesh upper that is not only better for the planet but also supplies you with breathable comfort throughout wear. The engineered mesh allows cool, fresh air to circulate whilst running and prevents intolerable build-up of hot air, keeping your feet feeling cool and comfortable as you go. This also means that feet feel fresher for longer when things heat up. To offer enhanced durability and protection, the upper features TPU panels and a logo. A recycled Tech lining further provides breathability and recycled Polyester laces allow you to easily adjust the fit, locking in the midfoot to reduce the risk of in-shoe slippage and keeping you feeling stable with each step.
For an extra lightweight feel, the Condor 3 has been updated with lighter laces and a thinner tongue that also limits points of friction. A film glued on the sneakers lightens the style, improving the running experience.
EVA Midsole
Utilising a bio-based EVA compound, the midsole of the Condor 3 works to cushion the foot upon impact. This helps to reduce the stress and strain that may be placed upon the muscles and joints in the foot as well as the ankle. This supportive cushioning also gives a wide, voluminous base for real comfort with every stride that leads to a reduced risk of injury both short and longer-term, as footstrike after footstrike is buffered. Additionally, EVA provides gentle, springy rebounds, utilising the power of your last step to push you into your next one. This means you don't lose momentum, and forward movement feels like a breeze, all culminating in fatigue reduction, so you go further with ease. After long distances and many running sessions, the Condor 3 proves its durability, preserving shape and cushioning. Providing further comfort and cushioning, the Veja Condor 3 have a full-length L-Foam cushion that covers the outsole for a high shock absorption capacity. It offers maximum comfort and protection against vibrations.
Rubber Outsole
Completing the Condor 3, a durable rubber outsole provides you with grip across all road surfaces. It has been constructed using Amazonian rubber in high-wear areas for long-lasting traction that you can rely on run, after run. Not only this but this rubber used by Veja has been certified Fair for Life in 2019 thanks to the brand's support to continue improving the living conditions of rubber tappers and ensure the protection of the Amazon rainforest. Their goal is to enhance the economic value of the forest in order to protect it so Veja soles are made of 20-40% of Amazonian rubber.
