Waterproof Full Grain Leather Upper
The Merrell Coldpack 3 Thermo Walking Boots utilise a full-grain leather construction, providing a comfortable, durable upper which keeps feet cool and dry thanks to the waterproof membrane. The leather provides enhanced protection against, knocks and bumps, dirt and debris, for boots built to last. A Merrell waterproof membrane features to ensure water, rain and damp conditions are kept on the outside, therefore keeping feet dry and cosy no matter what the conditions are. The boots have a protective and abrasion-resistant rubber heel and toe cap that helps to protect you against rocks and uneven surfaces. Providing warmth when temperatures drop the boots have 200g of synthetic insulation and a fleece lining. Combining the two helps trap warm air in small air pockets, providing a layer of heat within the boots so your feet stay cosy and warm. Cleansport NXT treatment prevents the build-up of odour-causing microbes, keeping the boots fresher for longer. Completing the upper is a YKK zip to assist in putting the boots on and off.
Super Rebound Compound Midsole
A Super Rebound Compound midsole provides the boots with durable shock absorption to help reduce torque and allow for a smooth transition into the midfoot. The midsole ensures plenty of underfoot cushioning reducing impact placed on feet when walking on tough trails whilst remaining as lightweight as possible. Furthering comfort, the boots also feature a Merrell Air Cushion in the heel that absorbs shocks, adds stability dampens impacts and helps to reduce the risk of injury. A Solarcore Aerogel insole provides underfoot warmth whilst extremely flexible and ultra-thin, creating a warm boot for those cold winter walks. Completing the midsole is a moulded nylon arch shank that increases stability on uneven surfaces.

Designed to provide a peerless grip on icy surfaces, this is the most advanced cold-weather gripping system Vibram has ever created. This high-performance rubber compound gifts unparalleled grip on wet icy surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The Vibram rubber is built for extremely slippery terrain as it can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. This has been combined with a Vibram XS Trek Evo rubber designed to provide the optimal balance of traction and flexibility on wet and icy surfaces.
