The largest locking carabiner, the RockLock is perfect for belaying, rappelling or anchors, and now features a hot-forged lightweight construction, a redesigned spine for better handling, and a larger rope-bearing surface for greater durability.
Designed to be lightweight, the Black Diamond Screwgate Carabiner has been constructed using a Hotforge construction. The Hotforge construction removes weight where it is not needed and adds material where its needed most to increase overall durability. A low profile and non snagging nose is easy to clip and clean whilst an easy to hold functional shape makes for easy carrying and hooking. The lightly curved spine maximizes gate opening plus, its one-hand operable for ease of use. Featuring a screw-lock, the Carabiner is ideal for occasional use in dirty environments where the conditions could cause an automatic locking system to jam. The screw-lock can be easily opened and either locked or not according to the user's needs.
