The Tangra Insulated Jacket is packed with extremely warm and comfortable Hydroloft insulation. This insulating technology is designed to improve the distribution of heat within the jacket, whilst also ensuring that the overall weight of it remains low. It is made from extremely fine fibres that mimic the construction of down. It will create small pockets of air that will trap heat within, repelling cold air away. This means you can stay warm and comfortable without the restrictive bulk meaning that you can move freely and carry out your outdoor activities to your full potential. The technology is also designed to be mindful of overheating. The structure of Hydroloft combined with highly breathable fabrics allows excess body heat and moisture to pass quickly through the jacket, ensuring you have enhanced levels of comfort for active use. The synthetic fibres used in Hydroloft do not absorb moisture, and this combined with a durable and PFC-free water-repellent treatment on the outside of the jacket will mean that it will perform in the worst conditions. The warmth will also be retained even in exposed spots, as the jacket is windproof. This will mean that you will always feel comfortable and protected on long days out on the trail. A full-length zip down the front of the jacket makes it extremely easy to secure the fit, allowing you to retain warmth quickly and easily, or alternatively to allow a constant flow of air in and out of the jacket. A storm flap covering the zip on the inside of the jacket will further seal the wind out of the jacket. A fully covering hood will provide you with complete shelter from rainfall, as well as work to retain heat effectively. A stiffened peak will guarantee that you will always be able to personalise the shape of the hood, with good visibility guaranteed. The hood is also helmet-compatible, ideal for climbing or cycling. The jacket has two zipped hand pockets, providing you with ample space to carry items around securely. Adjustable cuffs and an adjustable hem will allow you to secure the fit of the jacket to block the entry of wind, keeping your arms and body warm. The sleeves are articulated, meaning that you will be able to make a wide range of upper body movements preventing restrictions. Flat-lying seams will remove the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing within the jacket. Reflective logos will improve your safety and visibility during night-time activity. The jacket is sourced and produced using bluesign approved fabrics, as well as carrying the Berghaus Madekind logo, making the jacket a sustainable and green product.
