The upper of the Storm Trek has been designed with comfort and performance at its core. Performance Comfort Optimum technology means this footwear is designed for outdoor use in changing weather conditions. These are backpacking and hiking boots you can rely on to take you around the world, ensuring you get highly breathable footwear with moderate insulation for all-season climate comfort. The built-in GORE-TEX membrane provides protection during spells of higher activity where waterproofness and breathability are important. This footwear will not let water in the shoe but will let sweat vapour escape easily. So you get outstanding heat release and comfort, even in warm temperatures or periods of high activity. This means feet stay dry from the inside and out. Lightweight EVA Midsole
A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain. As well as this, a breathable, cushioned removable Ortholite footbed ensure long-lasting underfoot comfort.
