Polyester Upper
Constructed from a seamless polyester upper, the Asolo Eldo's provide you with a breathable layer of protection to keep feet shielded from dirt and debris, knocks and bumps, whilst also keeping them comfortable and cool. The durable polyester fabrics have strategically placed perforations throughout to allow airflow to efficiently cool feet down. The seamless construction of the uppers ensures that chafing and irritation is prevented, therefore, preventing distractions on the trail. The Gore-Tex lining supplies you with a combination of durable waterproofing materials, and an optimised level of breathability to keep you completely comfortable. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A rubber toe cap ensures protection for toes, and a heel rubber cap also provides additional protection at the back of the shoes. A cushioned tongue and collar prevents abrasion or irritation from occurring across your feet. Completing the uppers are a cordon lacing system that provides you with a fast lace-up system with a modern, stylish look, to keep feet locked in and secure inside the shoes.
PU Midsole
The midsole of the Eldo Walking Boots uses a PU foam to provide long-lasting cushioning and outstanding underfoot comfort. The PU foam feels soft underfoot for increased comfort on expeditions but, the foam also provides ample support to spare your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. The midsole ensures you can go further for longer by inundating shocks and protecting your feet when striking down and also dispersing the shocks to propel you forward. The midsole ensures long-lasting comfort for long expeditions whilst a leather cover inlay exists underfoot to increase ventilation. Asolflex AG technology has also been used in the midsole to provide additional support and protection. This specialised technology melts together two elements to improve comfort and performance. The first element is constructed of a stiff material that benefits anti-pronation, anti-supination and anti-torsion movements. The second element is constructed with a softer material that offers shock absorption while walking. For customisable comfort, the shoes have an Asolo/Ortholite insole for a soft cushioning footbed. This insole is both lightweight and breathable, to keep feet comfortable on the move.
Asolo/Vibram AG Outsole
The Asolo Eldo's utilise an impressive Asolo-Vibram AG Outsole with MegaGrip compounds, which work to provide superior traction and excellent grip on a wide variety of terrains. The outsoles have heel shape and Asobrake technology to provide you with the best support during descents, providing you with the necessary grip. Additionally, for the inclines, the shoes have a great front climbing area, meaning the shoes assist you in all necessary areas of your walking adventures. Using a Megagrip compound, the shoes are a perfect choice for walks on varied terrains, whether wet and soggy or dried up terrains, providing you with a versatile shoe. The deep lugs are perfect for self-cleaning action from both mud and stones.
