Asics METARACER Running Shoes

An engineered mesh upper is designed to increase forefoot support and comfort, by capturing as much airflow as possible, helping to keep the feet cool. This means your body does not have to work as hard to keep you cool. This provides the perfect microclimate for your feet, ensuring all-day comfort and breathability. The upper also has drainage ports to release any water that may get into the shoe, this way the lightweight properties of the shoes remain the same. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot, allowing you to enjoy distraction-free exercise. The Metaracer running shoes also have Guidesole/FlyteFoam technologies. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run. As well as this, the midsole also features a carbon plate and guidesole technology which work together to ensure fluid movements as you run. The bottom-loaded curved carbon plate runs from the midfoot forward to provide the guide sole experience in the lightest package. Guidesole technology works to increase running efficiency and reduce ankle flexion. The reduction in ankle flexion allows other muscles in the leg such as the calf to increase in efficiency so they can work less and achieve more. These two technologies work in tandem to provide an efficient rolling ride to increases overall efficiency. And finally to finish of the shoes is ASICSGRIP Technology, which provides excellent traction, especially in wet conditions. However, the shoes provide traction on a multitude of surfaces.
