Designed to provide lightweight cushioning, the midsole of the GT-2000 9 has been constructed using ASICS signature Flytefoam technology. Flytefoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it. Paired with this, the Gel technology cushioning positions itself in the midsole to reduce heel strike and support your feet where you need it the most. Implemented alongside these marvellous technologies, the shoes are reinforced with DuoMax technologies that prevent overpronation, assisting the transference of weight to your feet.
AHAR Outsole

ASICS High Abrasion Rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear.
