ASICS GT-1000 11 TR Trail Running Shoes
Smooth and soft, the GT-1000 11 TR is ideal for running and the gym. Part of ASICS' NATURE BATHING Collection, this shoe is inspired by the Japanese phrase, "shirin yoku." Its colourway draws inspiration from the calming hues found in nature. Meanwhile, its trail-specific outsole is functional for running on off-road surfaces.
Engineered Mesh Upper
The upper has been reimagined with a new engineered mesh that adjusts to your foot's natural shape while providing a comfortable midfoot hold. Constructed using a breathable mesh, the ASICS GT-1000 11 TR Running Shoes encase each foot in comfort. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. The mesh upper creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. Overlays have been used on the upper to increase structure and support. The overlays have been placed around the midfoot and the toe for long-lasting comfort and guidance. An OrthoLite X-30 sock liner provides soft step-in comfort. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free fit.
At least 75% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
FlyteFoam Midsole
FlyteFoam EVA has been tuned with a lower density than the previous version for a softer feel underfoot and cushioning comfort. It absorbs shock as you strike down on unforgiving ground, reducing the stress and strain put on the foot and joints, minimising the risk of injury. Teamed with GEL technology, this combination creates softer landings and smoother transitions. LITETRUSS technology is placed in the midsole's inside angle to reduce pronation. It helps produce a more supportive stride while keeping overpronation at bay.
Trail-Specific Outsole
This style includes a durable outsole, combined with a medial wrap-up, for enhancing the grip of the shoes. The rubber outsole can form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and grip on road surfaces. As well as this, the rubber outsole is highly durable to ensure long-lasting wear. The durable nature of the rubber will not wear down easily so these shoes will withstand long trail sessions over and over again. Completing the outsole are flex grooves that assist with grip and form a solid base to push from. The grooves allow the whole of the outsole to naturally flex where the foot flexes to increase comfort as well as performance.
