The ASICS GlideRide 3 Running Shoe is designed to help you conserve more energy, so you can log more miles during your distance training. A key focus for this design was to make this trainer smoother and more comfortable.
Redesigned Engineered Mesh Upper
Improving the fit of the upper, this design features an engineered mesh that provides excellent airflow while adjusting to the natural shape of the foot's motion. Paired with a 3D print, this application also creates targeted support without extra stitching or added weight. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow, creating a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Supplying flexible support, the knit works to increase ventilation and eradicate the build-up of sweat which is unavoidable during exercise. Sweat and moisture are wicked away from the feet leaving you feeling fresh and ready to clock up the miles in extreme comfort. The upper is softer, more breathable and comfortably wraps your foot whilst increasing airflow to keep your feet cool. As well as this, it provides a secure and substantial feel for wear all day, all year, almost anywhere. Jacquard mesh further creates a softer feel against the foot and improves the overall breathability of the upper. Lastly, a traditional lacing system cradles the midfoot for a locked-down fit.
The upper has been made with recycled materials to reduce the waste and carbon emissions of the GlideRide 3.
FF Blast Plus Midsole
Guidesole technology consists of a curved sole that improves running efficiency by decreasing the load placed on your foot. This technology helps you to conserve energy on the road by reducing ankle flexion for a more comfortable stride. Along with its curved sole design, the GlideRide 3 helps you to roll through your training with less effort. FF Blast Plus cushioning has been added to the midsole for a softer touchdown at footstrike. This FF Blast Plus cushioning keeps the shoe feeling lightweight whilst still providing a more responsive rebound at toe-off.
AHARPLUS Outsole
Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHARPLUS outsole. ASICS' High Abrasion Rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. As well as this it can create a strong bond with any ground beneath it, helping you stay in full control. The soft, curved nature of the sole works with the stiff forefoot to increase running efficiency and reduce ankle flexion. The reduction in ankle flexion allows other muscles in the leg such as the calf to increase in efficiency so they can work less and achieve more.
