ASICS Gel-Pursure 7 Running Shoes
The Gel-Pursue 7 has a functional design for runners who want a comfortable neutral running shoe with a supportive, responsive ride. It has an improved fit and feel through the upper, whilst increasing underfoot comfort.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Supplying feet with an exceptional level of comfort and breathability during training or running, the Gel-Pursue 7s utilise a soft engineered mesh fabric through the uppers. This material will ensure a constant level of airflow is provided for feet to thrive under pressure, keeping them cool and dry throughout. The soft mesh is not only comfortable against your feet, for distraction-free running, but it also has a stretchy construction meaning feet can splay and move naturally in the shoes. The no-sew overlays improve the support provided in your heel for a comfortable ride. Holes in the vamp offer you a customised fit in the forefoot, making the shoes more conducive for different foot shapes. A traditional lace-up provides you with the ability to get a preferred fit and feel, preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring and keeping your foot well-contained. Finally, reflective accents feature on the uppers, which help to improve visibility during low-light adventures.
FlyteFoam Midsole
Providing you with lightweight cushioning and underfoot comfort, the Gel-Pursue 7s have a FlyteFoam midsole which will also provide you with lightweight and responsive strides. This midsole compound is durable, lightweight and responsive, which also helps to keep things soft underfoot for comfortable strides. Embedded within the midsole is a Rearfoot GEL cushioning system, which helps to attenuate shock during footstrike, sparing your joints as you land onto hard, unforgiving surfaces, and promoting a smooth transition through the gait cycle. Under the foot, a new arch support ORTHOLITE sockliner provides a soft contour to the arch giving runners a great level of support and underfoot comfort. Finally, this shoe uses a stability TRUSSTIC piece to provide added torsional rigidity, helping runners at different stages of their run.
AHARPLUS Outsole
To supply you with durable underfoot traction, the shoes have an AHARPLUS heel plug, and ASICS Lite rubber compound. The AHAR+ compounds will help to improve the durability of the shoes, whilst also ensuring you have a grip on a variety of surfaces. The ASICS LITE rubber is lightweight and stronger than standard outsole rubber, due to the bio-based cellulose nanofibre. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction and allow for natural foot flexion providing an easy, unhindered pace.
