A comfortable, supportive shoe with a classic design, the Gel-Glyde 2 is functional for a variety of running workouts.

Breathable Mesh Upper

Providing feet with a constant level of airflow and breathability, the Gel-Glyde 2s utilise a breathable mesh fabric for the uppers of the shoes. Enhancing in-shoe comfort, whilst preventing a build-up of heat and moisture, and a seamless construction which therefore helps to reduce irritation. Additionally, the shoes have a plush, cushioned collar and tongue that sits comfortably against your foot, which further helps prevent irritation or chafing from occurring. A traditional lace-up closure keeps your foot secure within the shoes, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring.

Gel-Technology Midsole

The Gel technology cushioning unit provided in the heel of the Gel-Glyde 2s works to improve shock absorption, providing you with excellent comfort. The GEL helps to attenuate shock during footstrike, sparing your joints as you land onto hard, unforgiving surfaces, and promoting a smooth transition through the gait cycle. To provide you with support and stability, the shoes utilise DUOMAX technology. Duomax has been strategically positioned
within the shoes to adjust to dynamic motion and provide adaptive stability. Working alongside this, a Guidance Trusstic System and Guidance Line technology help to create a more efficient stride. This combination of materials assist in preventing overpronation, therefore providing you with a more reliable, comfortable ride.

AHARPLUS Outsole

To supply you with durable underfoot traction, the shoes have an AHARPLUS heel plug, and ASICS Lite rubber compound. The AHAR+ compounds will help to improve the durability of the shoes, whilst also ensuring you have a grip on a variety of surfaces. The ASICS LITE rubber is lightweight and stronger than standard outsole rubber, due to the bio-based cellulose nanofibre. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction and allow for natural foot flexion providing an easy, unhindered pace.
