GORE-TEX Upper
The upper of the Asics Gel-FujiSetsu 3 has been constructed with the renowned GORE-TEX technology to ensure your feet remain dry and comfortable as you run. GORE-TEX works by producing a waterproof membrane to deter water and leave your feet dry and protected. As well as providing resistance to the conditions, the upper is highly durable and guards against typical objects you encounter while trail running. Furthermore, mesh in the upper adds breathability by actively and efficiently wicking away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture. Cool air is encouraged to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your skin to thrive. A padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin, guarding against friction and irritation such as chafing while a traditional lacing system offers a secure, locked-in feel. The flexible nature of the upper also enables a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions.
Gel-Cushioned Midsole
Included in the midsole construction of the Gel-Fujisetsu 3 is the ASICS-specific feature Gel Cushioning System. The System helps to attenuate shock that is caused when the foot meets the floor and allows the foot to move through its natural gait cycle smoothly. This provides extra stability and cushioning, perfect for when running on loose and rough terrain.
Rubber Outsole
A vast amount of grip and traction is provided by the outsole, ideal for technical terrain. Iron pins are strategically located throughout the outsole to enhance the grip, to deliver a firm, assured footing. The outsole is fully compatible with all types of conditions, even during adverse weather conditions. Flex grooves offer a full range of motion in all directions while durable rubber helps to heighten the grip.
