ASICS Gel-Cumulus 24 TR Women's Trail Running Shoes
The Gel-Cumulus 24 TR shoe is a versatile everyday trainer for various runners covering different distances. From the upper to the foam underfoot, this shoe feels softer and more responsive. Part of our Nature Bathing Collection, this shoe is inspired by the Japanese phrase, "shirin yoku." Its colourway draws inspiration from the calming hues found in nature. Meanwhile, its trail-specific outsole is functional for running on off-road surfaces. To improve comfort, the upper features an improved heel fit. Meanwhile, the engineered mesh improves breathability to keep your feet cool throughout your run. This smooth distance trainer is also updated with our FlyteFoam Blast cushioning. Engineered Mesh Upper
Crafted from an engineered mesh, this upper delivers unmatched breathability. Micro-perforations allow heat and vapour to escape, whilst simultaneously encouraging fresh air to flow in and circulate. This provides a pleasant cooling sensation that helps create the perfect microclimate for happy, healthy feet. Now even softer, this engineered mesh upper offers unbeatable comfort. The upper delivers strategic support to targeted areas, giving you a helpful boost and a comfortable wearing experience. This upper works closely with the midsole's movement, which creates a smoother stride from footstrike to toe-off while the reflective details enhance visibility in low-light conditions. Lastly, a traditional lacing system help to lock the feet down and prevents any excessive movement.
FlyteFoam Blast Midsole
To improve cushioning and flexibility, ASICS has added FF Blast cushioning to the midsole which creates a lightweight impact absorption zone and a responsive energy return. A 3D Space Construction has been implemented to the top layer of the midsole. This technology is implemented through a series of strategically planted pillars within the midsole, allowing runners to experience more compression in a specific area without reducing durability or stability. These pillar formations are tuned differently in the men's and women's models to address each gender's biomechanical data. By helping runners appropriately compress the foam during the landing phase of their stride, this shoe promotes a smoother ride and improves shock absorption. Flytefoam helps create a smoother and more supportive ride, providing further cushioning and springy rebounds. This is done by utilising the force from your last step to power you into your next one, so you can go further than ever before. Additionally, the midsole features rearfoot and forefoot GEL technology that helps to improve impact absorption whilst creating a softer feeling at footstrike. Lastly, an OrthoLite X-30 sockliner provides soft step-in comfort.
AHAR+ Trail Specific Outsole
Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip on muddy trails and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. As well as this, a lateral full ground contact on the outsole supplies even more cushioning and durability so you can continue with complete confidence. AHARPLUS rubber has been strategically placed in the heel to improve durability. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction underfoot. The grooves allow for natural foot flexion for easy, unhindered paces, and work with the rubber outsole to provide an abundance of underfoot traction.
