ASICS EvoRide SPEED Running Shoes
The EvoRide SPEED is a lightweight shoe that has been designed to provide more energy savings. Updates focus on stability, a smooth forward roll, and grip. Key adjustments in the midsole include ASICS' FF BLAST cushioning. This soft material helps promote softer landings and a responsive rebound. Lastly, the AHAR rubber outsole material offers improved grip on various surfaces.
Jacquard Mesh Upper
Enhancing the comfort and breathability of your feet, the ASICS EvoRide SPEED Running Shoes have a jacquard mesh upper, ensuring a constant flow of air enters your shoes, allowing your feet to remain cosy at all times. Not only this, but the mesh construction ensures that feet won't overheat, and wicks moisture rapidly to prevent feet from getting sweaty and uncomfortable. Lastly, a lacing system increases midfoot support to ensure a dynamic fit for all-day comfort and an OrthoLite X-30 sockliner provides soft step-in comfort.
At least 50% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The sockliner is produced with a solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.
FF BLAST Midsole
The EvoRide SPEED's energetic underfoot ride comes from its FlyteFoam BLAST midsole. This new foam is softer and bouncier, providing a great feel from footstrike to toe-off. The soft and energetic nature of the midsole increases the underfoot softness, almost enveloping the foot in a plush, supportive wrap. This midsole is made up of multiple compounds to bring you a cushioned and explosive ride from stepping out to stepping in. FlyteFoam BLAST is the main cushioning compound used in the EvoRide SPEED because of its lightweight foam formulation and high energy return. Its lightweight foam construction reduces drag allowing you to run faster for longer whilst the elastomer creates a high energy return for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-offs. Resilient and innovative, FlyteFoam BLAST technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it. A responsive underfoot ride makes the EvoRide SPEED feel wispy and fast underfoot, an excellent choice for efficient runners who want to take their training to the next level. Completing the midsole is the 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION feature which improves compression at footstrike.
AHAR Outsole
An AHAR Rubber Outsole provides twice the abrasion resistance of traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. As well as this, GUIDESOLE technology aims to lessen the overall load placed on lower limbs by implementing a curved sole design.
