A versatile shoe that can be worn tightly in comfort. It combines an excellent toe with a deep heel. The slightly arched and slightly asymmetrical shape offers an immediate and natural fit.


Microfibre Upper

The upper of the Scarpa Aria V LV has been made with a soft touch microfibre. This provides a soft against-the-skin feel, perfect for long days of climbing. Scarpa uses multiple panels to allow the shoe to mould around the foot, increasing the comfort the more you wear it. Improving the fit is an improved toe box with a deep, snug and supportive heel, to help lock the foot in place and reduce movement inside the shoe. The slightly arched and slightly asymmetrical shape offers an immediate and natural fit. Completing the upper are twin reverse velcro straps with a high-stretch gusset to allow easy entry.

Dynamic Flexan Midsole
The midsole of the Scarpa Arpia V LV Climbing Shoes is specially designed to ensure maximum support with added flex. The Dynamic Flexan midsole is 1.4mm thick to ensure a level of support that doesn't compromise on weight, this has been extended at the back for heel reinforcement. Scarpa's TA-Tension provides the benefits of a dynamic tension system without adding an extra layer under the key toe tip positions. The TA (Toe-Abductor) Tension system works with the foot muscles to enhance toe power while minimising the disturbance to the flexor foot muscles.
Vibram XS 2 Outsole

Develeoped using a Vibram XS Grip 2 Outsole, the Scarpa Arpia V LV Climbing Shoes ensure maximum support for outdoor, indoor or lead climbing. This specialist outsole lets you focus your weight on the tiniest of holds and keeps its shape in tough conditions. The XS Grip 2 improves on the superior grip characteristics of XS Grip and delivers outstanding precision, support and stability for outstanding grip in every condition. A truly robust outsole, the XS Grip 2 can endure repeated abuse in hot and cold weather conditions giving you a shoe that can perform in all weather conditions. The rigid nature of the outsole supports you during any climb by adapting to the ground below you and bearing your weight as you move from rock type to rock type. The superior rigidness of this shoe is counterbalanced by adaptability and sensitivity. The outsole of the Arpia Climbing Shoes provides an optimal balance of performance and durability.
