Altra EGO MAX Midsole
The midsole is made from Altra's most cushioned foam yet, the Altra EGO MAX. With a generous and soft feel, it reduces pressure on your joints as you strike the hard surfaces of the trail. Extremely durable and responsive, this midsole provides you with all the cushioning you need for the longest of runs keeping you comfortable from the first mile to the last. Vibram Megagrip Outsole
Finishing the shoes is the Vibram Megagrip outsole, a high-performance sticky rubber that provides exceptional grip and traction on any surface whether dry or wet. Completing the outsole are flex grooves which work to increase traction and grip of varied surfaces by allowing your foot to move naturally providing a larger surface area. The grooves have been cut out of the midsole to reduce overall weight and ensure traction when running.
