Engineered Mesh Upper
Engineered mesh uppers will encase your feet in breathable comfort. The synthetic fabric is designed so it stretches where the foot needs it to (the forefoot) and as it does so, perforations open to let fresh air in on every stride. The rest of the upper remains structured and supportive. Extra ventilation means a better, healthier climate for your feet to thrive in; preventing the development of that distracting clammy feeling, and keeping you comfortable and motivated. A traditional lacing system helps to lock your foot down to prevent any excessive movement.
Boost Midsole
adidas take cushioning to new heights, with their ultra-responsive midsole: Boost. Tiny TPU capsules are moulded together to form a platform that is different to standard, solid foams; absorbing energy and then expelling it back out for a bounce-like effect. This energy return technology reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue and enhancing performance; keeping you going for longer. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving concrete. Boost also manages to maintain its special function and bounce in conditions as low as -20 degrees, making it a reliable, durable and hard-to-beat midsole. A Linear Energy Push system (LEP 2.0) with a stiffer, reinforced material has been added to provide you with less flex in the forefoot and increased responsiveness.
