The highly durable, buoyant and reliable P:2 Propel Wetsuit from 2XU is ideal for triathlons and/or open water swimming. A 39 Cell front buoyancy panel uses neoprene with a 5 mm thickness to ensure maximum buoyancy, elevating the body position in water to improve mobility whilst providing thermal protection. The SCS (Super Composite Skin) is applied as a layer over the surface of the neoprene to create a very unique, practical material. The micelle structure on the rubber surface repels water when in contact with air and reduces the surface resistance when in contact with water. Low resistance allows for faster speed through the water and quicker on-and-off when out of the water, shaving important seconds from your time. All in all, SCS provides comfort, and extra freedom of movement, keeps the body warmer and decreases body fatigue whilst ensuring durability and abrasion resistance. A floating back zip panel allows the zip to move in partnership with the body, especially during the recovery and catch phase of the stroke when your arms move through the largest motion, from beside your hip to entering the water in front of you, allowing for increased movement and better distance per stroke. Intermediate zone stretch panels and a 520% internal stretch lining unite to promote complete flexibility, improving movement fluidity to enhance performance efficiency. The rollbar increases core buoyancy and improves your body position across the water, plus silicone concave water entrapment zones increase the surface area on your forearms for an extreme, ultra-enhanced DPS (distance per stroke). Seamless shoulder and arm panels mean enhanced flexibility and reduced risk of rubbing and discomfort because we know how that can get you down.
